Yandex says launches savings accounts with daily interest payments
MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company Yandex has started opening access to its new fintech service, called Saves, which is a savings product with daily interest payments and a 13% rate for the first three months, the company said on Thursday in a statement.
The service offers a feature of customization of accounts and an option to top up and withdraw money at any moment without any commission, Yandex said.
After three months of use, the rate will amount to 9% annually. The service offers to open up to 10 accounts. The savings are secured by the Deposit Insurance Agency.
Yandex launched its own bank in 2021 on the base of the acquired lender Acropol Bank.
